Hi all,
I am not sure whether I should add this over here or not but I could not resist and I don't know any other way.
I went to a wine shop and was shocked to see cartoon of Ganesha used on the bottle of India Pale Beer. I am not a religious person but this thing made me nervous. Please let me know how this can be protested.

as far as I know what you have mentioned here is correct
As far as I know L1 has no affect on the H1 filing. She can come US on L1 and if her H1 gets approved, she can continue to work on L1 with company A. To tranfer to H1, she has to go out of US and then re-enter after getting H1 visa stamped. This is based on my understanding and few of my friends who have done that. They were in US on L1 but filed their H1 through another company.

Unfortunately, you guys are late for the conference call today. Let us have a conference call tomorrow then. Yes this is correct. If you have an approved I-140 and your I-485 is pending for 180 days, the employer cannot revoke your I-140 unless there is fraud in getting the I-140. If you have done joint filing of the two, if you get your I-140 within 6 months of the joint filing, you can change employers immediately after that. Of course, you can't just go to any employer; it has a to be a similar job.

After arriving in US , typically It takes about a year or two before you start ur GC process.(Initial job/city jumping )
So most of the applicants in 01-02 arrived during the halcyon days of 99-00.

From a logical perspective how many people arrive on flights which just happen to arrive during regular business hours so employers can be contacted?? Even if you do arrive in the middle of the day the chances are the phone would not be manned at that precise moment the POE officer chooses to call.
If there would be any doubt the POE officer would pass the individual onto secondary inspection for them to take care of things.
Another observation, why are H1B holders in line in front of green card holders. Did the green card holders just happen to want to join the long line or did the visa holder decide they could go in the short line at immigration?
Just some thoughts after reading these sort of posts.

Until I see a real story that can be verified I doubt what I am reading is true.

OMG these are all amazing! I can't imagine how much work went into these. I know nothing about 3d art/programs so I'm not sure what it takes to make curves and such. I loved Elisoe's for the openess and the pipes in the ceiling, BlueSun's for the tile work, and ThirdWorld's for the colors and curves. But I voted Grinch because the map on the wall is killer and looks very real. And plus I'm a cartographer so it just caught my eye. Makes me want to step in and take a closer look at it.
