Now a days this has become a fashion to bash Hinduism and people take pride in doing so just to make a point to prove that they are very secular and far sighted and very broad minded but infact these are the people who are pseudo-secular and the reason for majority Hindus in our own country being held hostage by the policticians and the largest minority community in india.....
I've seen this many times that any hindu who speaks their mind and strong believers in their religion will be tagged as fundamentalists and rss supporters where as I have nothing to do with any religious groups but I am proud of my RELIGION and it does hurt me when I see my religion/gods depicted in a bad way. If you are a aethist then just shutup but don't bash Hindu religion and I am sure that all the guys who tried to do so dont have balls to bash other religions coz they know the conseqences of it and I am sure these religious bashing people are the one who'd visit temple to get their greencards but don't accept it either becoz they are hypocrates or ashamed of their own religion......

Hi friends,
Please advise me on this situation.
I am currently in US with L1B with Company A.
Company B has already filed H1B petition for me.
Assuming it gets selected & approved, Is it Possible for me to Continue with Company A after Oct1 2007 with the L1 itself.

u can be in L1 status..just go out of the contry and come back in L1b status..u r status will be autoamtically be L1 again...however u have to remember that u r h1b will be wasted...my friend did same thing last week..

So far most of us have spent about 2 - 3k, lost invaluable time with stress & had sleepless nights.
DOS & USCIS should not be spared. Lets help IV & try our best to sue them. I just contributed $100.00 and will continue to contribute until the suckers are sued.

According to the person I spoke to:
1. I will be issued an RFE if my AOS packet did not contain the EVL
2. Once the A# is issued, that means the application has been accepted, so no outright rejection can happen, however RFEs can be issued at a later date.
Did you ask if you can send EVE separately by quoting receipt number or A# well before they issue any RFE on this?

Do you think Lawyers used the rally to further their business and had IV as a front to project that as a H1 CAP increase ?
1) Lawyers would not do anything for free
2) At the very best - we need to have another rally in Silicon Valley to highlight
our cause with immeiate Effect, otherwise, folks can twist it as H1 rally.
We will have to explicity state Rally for
Green Cards for tax paying professionals !

Hi could someone please show me how to write the letter to explain reason for AP? Should I explain why I am leaving or emphasize on the need to come back?
Also, in the e-filing form the oversea address is not required as it does on the paper form, should I provide it anyway as the supporting doc?

Since the premium processing will not be available from August 1, 2008, you should not fail to file premium processing services. (2) If the circumstances are such that you may have to change employment using approved I-140 petition, approval of I-140 petition by premium processing will be particularly critical. If such extension is critical for you, you should seek premium processing services as quickly as possible within this month.

understandably so.. but I am now current after a looooong time. EB3 Dec 2001 PD. I can finally file the AOS for my wife who has been on H4 for the last 2 yrs... excellent!

Yes, I believe, most companies (new employers - mid level) would not even ask and if requested and you can not provide then generally they may not make a big deal but underlying result for asking is to check if financial strength is "Good" and I-140 is approved then no problem hiring an EAD holder.

The problem with this guy is he has got his GC and now he doesn't want anybody to have it. Basically he enjoys when people are having of pain. That's the reason he doesn't want any progress in PD's. Most times, desi employer looks for himself in these cases. These jobs are not obtained by stringent interview processes. Consulting companies and candidates kinda use each other to legally get into the system.
While someone wants to do h1b for their wife, the only way seems to be conssulting companies or MS - OPT - job.
When people have the luxury of approaching consulting companies to do h1b for wives and nephews etc... they must also be ready for crap. Will someone approach Microsoft for doing h1b for wife??
We all know it is not easy to geta job if you don't have good US experiencee and such candidates are a challenge to get placed, thats why consulting companies request u to pay payroll taxes so that they can legally run payroll and keep u on rolls till u get placed.
It is totally upto a person whether they want to deal with this or not.

I disagree with you. Per my calculation USCIS should have at-least 158k application with PD 2002 and 2003 (all chargeability, all cat). And yes I have arrived at this number after deducting already approved EB2 and EB3 numbers.
If you do INDIA:CHINA:MEXICO :: 40:30:30 ratio.
The break up of outstanding I485 looks like this
India :- 64k
China :- 47K
Mexico:- 47K
